Tennis Canada has been a sponsor since the early days of the annual Achievement Awards process and presentation luncheons and the two organizations have enjoyed a close and productive relationship.

Following the death of Sports Media Canada founding president George Gross, the Tennis Canada media room was formally renamed the George Gross Media Centre. It’s buzzing this week with print and electronic journalists from far and near sending off coverage stories on the play and activities of the dozens of WTA stars in Toronto for the 2011 edition of the Rogers Cup.
